WENGER ADVISES UNITED ON RONALDO

Legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has advised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United on how to get the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo. Wenger talked about the return of Ronaldo to the Theatre of Dreams in an interview monitored by Metro. According to him, signing Ronaldo was not a mistake on the part of the Red Devils.

On how to get the best out of Ronaldo, Arsene Wenger said that Solskjaer and his coaching staff must find the right balance to get the best out of the Portugal international. Arsene Wenger is certain that Ronaldo can score the goals that Manchester United need to do well in their games this season, but he was less certain about his ability to play three games in a week consistently.

Ronaldo has scored seven goals in ten games for Manchester United in all competitions since his return to the club this summer. He was criticised in some quarters for his performance against Liverpool during the penultimate round of Premier League games. Ronaldo and his Manchester United teammates were hit for five without reply when Liverpool visited Old Trafford at the end of last month.
Liverpool thumped the Red Devils 5-0 away from home with goals from Mohamed Salah (three goals), Naby Keita and Diogo Jota. The Red Devils made it four league games without a win with the result against the Reds.

Manchester United were able to stop their four-game winless run with the 3-0 away win over North Londoners Tottenham Hotspur in the newest set of games in the Premier League. Ronaldo scored the opening goal of the game with a fantastic first half volley for the seventh goal of his second United spell. It was his first goal in five league matches. He also provided the assist for the second goal from Edinson Cavani in the second half before substitute Marcus Rashford wrapped up the win.
