Premier League is the best option for Coutinho says, Rivaldo

Brazilian footballer Philippe Coutinho should be returning to Premier League says former Rivaldo. The player was transferred to Barcelona from Liverpool but his performance at the club wasn’tup to the expectation. Later he was transferred to Bayern Munich in a loan where he had spent the last season and the German club is not interested in signing an extension with him.
Meanwhile, Barcelona manager Quique Seiten who has taken over the club since January has said during the lockdown that the player could be a part of his squad for the next season of La Liga. But the agent of the player has recently said that player has been having interest from various clubs of Europe. If Barca decides to sell the player then he would like to secure a move back to England.
Kia Joorabchian told talkSPORTof the Brazil international's current situation: “We've not kept it a secret that he wants to come back to the Premier League if he can. He adores playing in the Premier League and I think it's one of his priorities, but he's also not against staying in Barcelona so it's very open.”
During his five years stay at Liverpool he has established himself as one of the best footballers in the world. But a transfer to Barcelona on 2018 brought down him as he failed to be impressive with the ball. Rivaldo feels that it would be better for the 28-year-old to come back to his former league.
Arsenal and Tottenham are the two of the Premier League clubs who have shown interest but they haven’t yet submitted an official request. Rivaldo feels that Coutinho could fit into the system of both Spurs and Gunners and he has also added Leicester City as a possible destination.
Rivaldo in a talk with Betfair has told that the player should be focusing on returning to Premier League. It is in the English football he had spent the best time of his career and his potential has been well used in the environment of Premier League. By returning back to England he could retrace hissteps and find his best form and be the excellent player he used to be.
