Arsene Wenger will strengthen his squad in the summer

During the previous transfer window, Arsene Wenger only signed 1 player and it was Petr Cech who was acquired for a fee of around £10 million.

Many fans of the Premier League club were angry at the French coach as they wanted to see a few more signing being made that could help out the club in their journey of winning the English league but after everything was said and done, Cech was the only reinforcement during the winter transfer window.

According to Arsene Wenger, if he feels that new signings need to be made in the summer, then money will be available as the French coach said: "I think if we want to buy at the end of the season, money will be available but at the moment we want to influence our performances and results. The money, until the end of the season will not help us."

Arsenal is a club that is known for not making big splashes of cash but they have still managed to consistently stay in the top spots of the Premier League but it hasn’t been enough to satisfy the needs of its supporters as fans of the English club want to see Arsene Wenger making that final push to clinch the league title and an injection of cash can certainly aid in this process.

Arsene Wenger and his team were going through a superb start of the season as they managed to stay competing for the 1rst and 2nd place of the Premier League for the majority of the campaign along with Leicester City but Arsenal has recently been dropping points after losing against Manchester United and Swansea City and their latest Premier League result saw them drawing with Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal still have a chance to win the Premier League in this season but this recent drop of points is a huge blow for them and this might be why Arsene Wenger is already talking about what players to sign in the upcoming summer transfer window.
