Arsene Wenger Makes His Top 4 Prediction Following Tuchel's Impressive Start

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has taken a full assessment of Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and has now revealed his predictions regarding which teams will make the top four spots come the end of the season. According to Wenger, his former fierce rivals Chelsea will miss out on the top four places, but only by a fraction. The former manager said anytime he remembers the performance the Blues put in against Southampton in their 1-1 draw, he keeps getting reminded that the Stamford Bridge club can't comfortably break into the first four positions in the table.

Since Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have gone six straight Premier League games without tasting defeat and are currently the League's fifth-placed team with just two points adrift of the top-four. The German boss has brought about some calmness at the club, incorporating the players so well and creating harmony among the dressing room in the process.

He has also created a balance between the team's attacking and defensive departments; a key ingredient they lacked under past manager Frank Lampard. Wenger was speaking on beIN Sports where he made the remarks, insisting that if Chelsea continue to play the way they did against Southampton (referring to the 1-1 draw), they would find it slightly difficult to end the season as one of the teams in the top four.

Wenger said Chelsea did not play their best game against Southampton which is normal in the division but cited that they should be more conscious of not running out of form as the season draws to a close else they will pay with their precious desire of wanting a top-four finish.

Wenger said he believes Manchester City, Manchester United, Leicester City, and Liverpool are the teams he predicts to finish as the first four teams in the league.
