WENGER CONFIDENT

Arsene Wenger has said that he is confident of the new season ahead and says that his team will do better than last season.

The Gunners were in contention with eventual champions Chelsea and Manchester United for the title last season before injuries led to the team to settle for third place after fading away late in the campaign.

Arsenal were held trophyless once again last season and the club still have not won any silverware since 2005.

Despite the trophy drought, and the big spending of Manchester City, Wenger believes that his team will do better this season.

WENGER CAN SPEND
